Do you know your state motto? I was unaware until recently that Oregon’s motto was ‘She Flies with Her Own Wings’ otherwise known to many Portlanders as ‘Put A Bird On It’. Linz and I plan to take the next 3 months to dive a little deeper into learning about our beloved (adopted) state. With Oregon as our seasonal theme we are excited to cook with our favorite local ingredients, make crafts figuratively and literally about the state and infuse these next 12 weeks with good ole fashion Northwest values (read: sustainability).
Do you like posing in front of state signs? My college roommates and I take the art of being silly with state signs to a new level. We have spent many awesome hours (yes hours) having photo shoots in front of state signs.
