Writing about fixing my rain boots in May seems a little silly. Yet if you live in the Pacific 
Northwest, then you know that there will be a time this summer when in fact you will have rain puddles to splash about in.
My beloved rain boots started to crack in the back seams and rather than give up on them, I decided a repair was possible. I opted to buy matching polka dot ribbon (I was really close to buying hot pink). I sprayed the ribbon with water proof repellent. After it was dried, I used super glue to attach the ribbon across the back seam of each boot.
I have not tested out my new boots in the actual rain, but they stood up to being splashed around in the sink.
