Makeover Monday: Chalkboard Coffee Table

I know, I know, there have been a lot of chalkboard designs around here. More perhaps than even soup recipes and embroidery projects, but one cannot help what one loves. So, here is my favorite chalkboard project to date.

I took my old, weathered coffee table and transformed it into a center piece worth talking about.

I was even able to hide a burn spot I had made from candles. (oops!)

As you can see I painted the top and edges of the coffee table with chalkboard paint. My favorite part is that now when my friends come to visit they can leave me doodles and notes.
