Ribbons, buttons, beads and catching up with friends.
What do these things have in common? They’re all coming together for our T-Shirt Reconstruction/Crafting Party this weekend!
We’ll share more about the party later, but right now we are busy gathering inspiration for ways we can jazz up any simple, old and/or boring garments. Here are some of my favorites.
I love the simplicity of these designs from La Marquise des Anges. Who knew that the graceful placement of a ribbon could add so much class?
Spunky and colorful, I love this eclectic look from Rock Around the Dog.
These designs are probably more work than I could accomplish in one afternoon, but I like the versatility of these fabric embellishments from Lirola and Wear Addiction.
Monochromatic ruffles! Simple, but they can add a little bit of funkiness to the good ole’ tee. These custom-made shirts from Tangente are extra-special.
While most pieces are beyond my pay scale, I adore almost everything from Anthropologie. I am smitten with the vintage feel of many of their pieces, and this trio is no exception. It would be fun to try painting on a cardigan, right?
I’m excited to see what projects the group will work on at the party. I’ll be sure to report back with photos!
