I went to a pumpkin patch with some friend and it was nothing less than amazing. They talked it up, but my mind didn’t really comprehend past the events of pumpkin picking and corn ‘mazing. This is the place to go to feel like a kid again. There were strange barrels of corn kernels to jump into, giant chairs to climb on, pig races to cheer for and best of all a jumping pillow. I loved it and plan on making it a regular tradition of my Maryland life.
It is amazing what just a few weeks can do to the weather. When we visited this crazy farm of adventure it was in the upper 80’s. It still felt like fall as we found the pumpkins of our dreams, munched on apple cider donuts and frolicked through the farm, but really it was summer weather. It just the short span of three weeks the leaves have changed color and are beginning to drop, along with the temperatures. I’m not sure if I’m ready for winter, but I suppose mother earth won’t wait around for me to get it together.
