It’s a little hard to know what to do next in developing your photography skills when you just spent two and half weeks with tons of time to take photos in a beautiful, interesting place with lots of willing subjects. But then again, I suppose that is where things should get interesting, right? The challenge really begins. I’m now out and about living my everyday life and sharing it in a weekly photo series. I recently took my first trip to Washington D.C. since moving to Baltimore. It was amazing to just be able to take a day trip to the Capitol. I’m still reminding myself I moved to the other side of the country and I have a whole new world to explore. I love it.

Friends since middle school, we continue to inspire each other to be creative in our big, adult lives. Each season we take on a new theme to guide our crafting, cooking, and creating. We're up for trying anything, and things are bound to get messy. But that's just the way we like it.
